This is a collaborative project between a friend of mine and me.  With his first-hand experience in the UAS or drone field he has identified a gap in information regarding the devices that are being used in the UAS field. There is not an activity tracking system that allows for flight and maintenance activities to be tracked on UAS systems so when a device is being sold second hand the buyer is not able to verify the number of commercial flights or maintenance and repairs that have been performed on the flight system before purchase. The goal of this project is to create a site and mobile app that will allow for the in registering of UAS system serial numbers and FAA registration numbers so that activities that are performed with or on these systems can easily be tracked by not only current owners but future owners as well.
